Facial Volume Loss

New York Laser & Skin Care

Facial volume loss is a natural part of the aging process that can lead to hollowed cheeks, flattening of facial contours, and the appearance of deeper lines or folds. As collagen, elastin, and supportive fat diminish over time, the face may begin to lose its youthful structure and balance. Restoring volume can help rejuvenate facial contours while maintaining a natural, refreshed appearance.

Why Volume Loss Occurs

Over time, the skin’s underlying support system gradually changes as collagen production decreases and facial fat pads shift or diminish. These structural changes can lead to sagging skin, hollow areas beneath the eyes, and less definition in the cheeks and jawline. Environmental factors such as sun exposure and lifestyle influences may further accelerate these visible changes.

Treatment Options

At New York Laser & Skin Care, Dr. Kauvar uses advanced dermal fillers and collagen-stimulating treatments to restore youthful volume and enhance facial harmony. These treatments are carefully placed to subtly lift and contour the face while preserving natural expression. With a personalized approach and artistic precision, patients can achieve smoother, fuller facial contours that appear refreshed and naturally rejuvenated.
