Under-eye Circles

New York Laser & Skin Care

Dark under-eye circles can give the appearance of fatigue or aging, affecting overall facial radiance. They may result from pigmentation changes, thinning skin, or shadowing caused by natural contouring under the eyes. Many patients seek treatment to restore a brighter, more youthful appearance to the delicate under-eye area.

Causes and Contributing Factors

Under-eye circles can develop due to genetics, aging, sun exposure, allergies, or lifestyle factors such as poor sleep and stress. Thinning skin and loss of fat in the area can accentuate dark shadows, while excess pigmentation may create persistent discoloration.

Treatment Options

Dr. Kauvar offers customized treatments to address under-eye concerns, including dermal fillers, laser therapy, and topical solutions that reduce pigmentation and restore volume. With precise, tailored interventions, patients can achieve smoother, more luminous under-eye skin and a refreshed, well-rested appearance.
